As a yoga teacher, I draw on my background in education, dance, and theatre to offer dynamic, immersive creative movement and meditation experiences that weave together somatics and storytelling, music and mantra, philosophy and poetry.I teach classes, retreats, and trainings, specializing in Vinyasa, Yin, and Bhakti Yoga, infused with bardic inspiration and embodied awareness. I love sharing kirtan, somatic dance, poetry workshops, and kids yoga. I also offer Continuing Education courses in Bhakti Yoga and Somatic Movement & Meditative Arts. Since 2018, I have been teaching yoga internationally, from Peru to India to my hometown in Canada.

I completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at Yandara Yoga Institute in Mexico, where I first fell in love with kirtan. A deep calling to explore the path of devotion led me to complete my 300-hour training in Bhakti Yoga with Audrey Sarquilla, and to spend time learning and volunteering at Bhakti Yoga ashrams around the world. Before discovering yoga, I was a competitive dancer and dance teacher, experiences that continue to shape my asana practice and inspire my ongoing explorations in embodied yoga and somatics, including training in SacredDance and Shake the Dust.I studied Drama and Education at Queen’s University in Canada, where I was actively involved in community theatre, dance projects, storytelling events, and arts programming. My love for theatre, musicals, and choreography found a home in my yoga offerings, as did my passion for teaching and learning. I have taught in schools both internationally and in Canada, bringing over a decade of teaching experience to my work. A forever student, I am committed to my ongoing study of yoga philosophy, Hindu mythology, and embodied yoga.I’m a big reader, especially of fiction, fantasy, and poetry (all-time favourites include the Harry Potter series, Sophie Strand, and Mary Oliver). I love adventures in nature, swimming, hiking, rituals, making potions, decorating with flowers, and spending time with my partner, my family, and in the company of animals.

“I spent the most lovely week during a 50h Bhakti TTC with Tiana. She made me see a whole new world within yoga. The stories behind the poses. The gods and goddesses and their history which she tells so funny and juicy. Sharing her love on and next to the mat. If you have the possibility to share some time with this beautiful person, take it!”

"From the very beginning, I felt an instant connection with Tiana. Her voice was divine, and she radiated passion and inner joy in every moment we shared in the group. It didn't feel like a training, it felt like a process of self-realization through her teachings. I was amazed by the progress we made in just one week. All of us learned to play the harmonium and found the courage to express ourselves through chanting, storytelling, and poetry. I will keep all those moments in the bottom of my heart forever and still feel so proud of myself for what I have achieved."
–Céline
“Tiana creates and holds a deeply nurturing and sacred space in her trainings; allowing students to feel seen, supported, and inspired on their journey. She shares her knowledge and lived wisdom of Bhakti yoga with authenticity always teaching from the heart. I am forever grateful for the experience of community, connection and the transformative teachings she so generously offers. Highly recommend!”
